I know we tried to get the skills sessions going in the spring time but I suppose the temptation of good weather and actual mountain biking was too strong.
For the winter months I spend my Tuesday and Thursday evenings practicing trials and general bike handling skills. It's done in an urban environment and the sessions are 1h maximum (too old to manage longer ones!)
If anyone is interested in joining let me know, we can pick a central location that suits all. Easy on time also as long as it's after 6:30
There are number of skills / moves I'm currently working on but happy to guide people through basics if they are willing to learn.
Most bikes are suitable, less is more generally (suspension, weight), you won't get far without flat pedals though. Shin guards recommended but not essential until you start more dynamic stuff.
Let me know if interested
