            Here's the results
Congratulations to Colm McGarvey on his title win.
Poor John has a compound fracture and is undergoing surgery in hospital today.
He was actually winning his race when he broke his leg somehow.

Just wanted to acknowledge Mark Kidd and Colm McGarvey who had contacted myself yesterday to try getting Johns wife.
As poor Doris was in such agony he couldn't communicate with the lads and his car was left in the field as no one could locate the keys.

Colm I think was heading to the hospital in Drogheda after his race so fair play to Colm for his help.

I think all is sorted now but moving forward we all should have plans for this event if we are ever unfortunate enough.

Even on a club spin I wouldn't have everyone's numbers etc. but it would be worth having a little database we could all access ( given permission) so we could contact next of kin.
(If anything ever happens to Alzer just bash his helmet and his mum calls his phone. Bonkers but true. )

Here's wishing Doris a speedy recovery.

            Well done Colm mcGarvey.

CI ask for emergency contact details when you apply for a license. Club chair, secretary, treasurer can access these via the CI club management portal if required. So if this situation ever does arise, hopefully never, get in contact with someone from the committee.
                      (For 2022 that's David M, Michael O'R, Ronan K, Roo D, Gary C, and myself.)

Thanks all, delighted to get the win, was an eventful race, we all had mechanicals at different stages, unlucky for Ronan he suffered his mechanical on last lap and I managed to pass him for the win, as he's my next door neighbour, we've since exchanged pleasantries over the garden fence :-)
Very bad luck for John especially while he was winning his race, knowing John and how fast he is, I'm sure you will have a speedy recovery and be back winning races in no time!
I agree with Terry on having access to emergency contact details for all club members, never know when they might be needed, good to know that the committee can access these if required, thanks Keith.
I must get contact number for some of the committee, (not suggesting you post your mobile no on here)

                          Thanks Keith
Yea it's not a problem until you are in a panic and then it's hard to think logically.
Most of us don't answer our phones these days so was just thinking of some solution to a very rare problem.
We can have a think about it collectively and see what suits most.
Maybe if we have our ICE number as part of our name or a signature or something
