Thanks all, was a v tough race but as always enjoyable once you cross the finish line! Crazy speeds on the flats as the fast lads tried to get away, just hanging on in the line outs at over 60k/hr so that you dont get dropped. John and I worked well together, pulling each other along at different times, with John even giving me the last of his tasty food as I was hanging coming out of Laragh and up through Annamoe, well done John and thanks a mill, great to have a good team mate with you! Really makes a difference for the big road clubs with the team car coming up and giving them extra food and drink and encouragement! The Shay elliott climb was tough as always esp at the speed they were going up it. We had 3 cricuits of 20k to do on crappy roads before we hit glenmalure and they really drained the legs before the big climb. I was happy to finish at the sharp end and managed to get in a sprint after 155 long kms so not a bad day out, great to be involved in such a prestigious one day race. Lots of mountain bikers in the race as well with Morty and Mark both going v strong. Well done to Bray Wheelers on a really well organised event. Sorry to miss all the fun & skids in carrick, savage results for the Irish, well done Greg & Robin!

Looks like there's a few riders/spectators who think the results are wrong on Stickybottle.

Well done lads has to be one of the hardest racing in the country! Ye seen morty was close in mondello so he is on form. Seen him out my way in full epic gear a week or two ago training so he is getting the miles in! Is he doing the ras?
