Default Tour de Pants - A Dare To Care

    Hi guys,

Just letting you know about a thing I am involved in organising with Dermot & Dave in Today FM.

We are doing a charity fundraising cycle from Adare to Cahir on Tuesday 26th September for The Irish Cancer Society.

This is part of Today FM's fund raising initiative that replaced Shave or Dye last year.

The cycle we are doing is called Tour de Pants... the reason being is we'll be doing it in our jocks... or bib shorts at least for me ;-)

It is open to listeners too, so if anybody from the club was available and interested in participating they can find out more here https://www.todayfm.com/Editors-Pick...-Tour-de-Pants

I will be on air with the lads tomorrow at some point to talk about my own motivations for getting involved.

If you can't get involved and would like to make a donation to this good cause you can do so through my fund raising page here.

    Thanks

    G

Great interview Gavin - you came across as a seasoned broadcaster. A very deserving cause. Richie would be proud. Best of luck next week, and no photos please!

I might have done a bit of pirate radio back in the day ;-)

Great interview bud, could hear the emotion at the end there, had a little lump in the throats myself. Good luck

    Hi guys,

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all from the club that have supported me so far on this. It really is very much appreciated, especially given I am not here that long.

I finished the cycle on Tuesday. Handy spin for me, if not a bit humiliating, but spent most of it helping others along.

See link for full frontal bib short action ;-) https://www.instagram.com/p/BZgBRqjH...by=gavinfeeney

If you would like to support but didn't get a chance, the link is still open for donations for another week.

Thanks again and see you all out on the hills (fully clothed) real soon.
