Anita Bean, the complete guide to sports nutrition. A brilliantly understandable book.

Chopper, Song of the Surfer. A great read of a graphic novel. Brilliant.

After that you can't beat picking up 3 magazines in the airport bookshop, one on biking, on on mens health and one about the soapstars!

Nice one OZ, thanks for that.
Cool, it would be great if you could write a short paragraph about your experience at your first Blast. If you pm me I'll give you my email. If you can include a pic we'll get it up on the website

I know a lad who bought this book:

    http://www.amazon.com/Mountain-Bike-...8064154&sr=1-1

He has it in the jacks and reads a few pages every time he goes for a $hite.

I can confirm that it has indeed turned him into a deadly mountainbiker.

And he amuses us on the trail every so-often with a 'Ned says' quote..........

You could do worse than getting your hands on a copy of 'Born to Run',

"A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen"

I know its nt about biking but a great read for anyone.
