Just so you know Bertie Ahern is the head of forestry acquisition for Helvetia Wealth. They proudly state that they minimise the use of the land and maximise profits.

Not that I'm implying that Bertie wouldn't have the best interests of the public at heart.

Lets be honest if Bertie 'my only regret is not building the BertieBowl, and I've forgotten about signing blank cheques for Charlie and everything after that...' Ahern has something to do with it we should be probably assume the worse and plan for it.

So last night I purchased SaveCoillte.org to hopefully get a place where all the Coillte users can get together rather than have several scattered campaigns.

I'm just doing a bit of research into petitions first - as they have a legal standing...

P.S. A nice pic of a Coillte forest would be nice if anyone has one. I had a lovely one taken from the fireroad heading towards Freds field before you get to Satellite. BUT I can find it for ther life of me (and it was a really sunny day too) :(

Fair play t-dog and Dave s, this whole thing is beginning to smell a bit dodgy, that pdf makes fascinating reading. Nice start with the website.

maybe it's time to push for proper legislation to cover ' rights to roam ' . No better time than now to pressurise them no the doors and in the media.
If you hear banjo's peddle faster !
