Well done to all the...
The weather on Sunday was fab, and WORC’s course had a bit of everything - techie hills with off camber turns at the spectator area, a couple of forests, an optional lake / run off area, and a good...
That recce is in feet and miles - hardly know what they are any more ... must be in the northern counties. While there may not be mountains as such there’s plenty of climbing. And sold out already....
Great course from WORC as always. Need to work on my straightline speed, and remounting. Maybe some coaching from BrendanC? No rain during races, no mud, big grid - what more could you ask for! ...
entries open for WORC CX in Grange Castle on 22 Sept - https://m.facebook.com/supercrosscup/posts/

That’s a very modest way of putting it Terry. Take a bow! 3rd overall in the 8 hour race (solo/duo) - that’s an epic achievement. Congratulations!! [emoji898]

Wow, 3pm .. that’s some going! 400m climbing in 150km - that’s a bit different to your usual spins alright. Well done.
Yep, cycle path all the way. You’ve streets to cross, but it’s mostly segregated from car traffic. You country folk don’t get up to the big smoke much.
I’ve heard there’s McIntrye’s pub & grocery, and loads of people living in barges. Nowt else.
I hope you’ve food and accommodation waiting for you at the other end! I only know a small section from my commute - jump on at Kylemore Road bridge (near Giant store) and there’s only one road...
Maybe clear felling is coming to an end around here. Definitely good news. Extracts below from the Irish Times. You might recognize one or two of the forest names.

Thanks Robert. Good summary.
I see it’s up on RTÉ Player for the next 30 days - https://www.rte.ie/player/movie/living-with-lyme-disease/81513000203
Bobby enjoyed that. Even, or especially, the ‘light drizzle’. The new venue worked well - good shelter and lots of variety. Great to see even the little ones doing those drops. Thanks Alfie. We...
Yay! Kids and skids .. and maybe even jellies 😀
That’s super Brendan. Well done. Don’t forget to get before and after photos.
Hadn’t thought of that Ronan. Nobody will care until there’s a claim, and you want to be complying with your insurance company’s rules in that situation. They’d love an excuse not to pay out.

It’s due be reopen next week as Farmer Brown’s Kilternan - to be ready for the club league.
Glad that mudfest is behind me. Cold, wet, mud, mud, mud. WORC put in a lot of work to prep a great course. I felt sorry for them taking it down in the freezing cold as I was leaving.
I too made the...

you mean there’s stuff other than djouceman on instagram?
Tough course - lots of tight off-camber 180° turns and run-ups. Happy to have survived until the end. I take it back Caroline - running up that hill in Cherrywood with bike aloft was useful training...
