It's Hit .89 to the euro. and rumor has it it will be pound for euro in the coming weeks.
Add that to the VAT difference, and things are a whole lot cheaper. If only I had some money.....

Typical trek, There like the microsoft of mountainbikes, There try to monopolise the market with restrictions of sale, Typical septics ?, Up north is your best bet.

I reckon their sale restrictions cost them a lot of sales this year. They are producing very nice bikes at the moment, but this pick up only thing is putting a lot of people on Giants....

Exactly what I encountered, I may have bought one but was not prepared to do the pick up thing, crazy policy. Giant must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Trek retailers are not allowed to ship bikes, they must be collected in store, so buying from them is a pain unless you are willing to travel or pull some sort of scam.
