I'll be there, I live near it, hopefully it will rain more , its really easy to dig that place when its wet, it dries out really quick though.

Hey Mark, I was thinking I'd like to do some photos in St Annes for a story in Dirt Mag. Are you on for a bit of riding on saturday either before/during/after the digging? I need to get in touch with Stephen B too.

Hey vic, sure i'll bring the bike too. i'll b there from around 11. should be good, i picked up Richie's Mattock last night then went out to Ballinastoe where i picked up Al's too, a shovel and the two legendary blue buckets.

Mark,

Whats the tool situation like? do i need to bring my huge implement(!!!) or do have a boot full of tricks?

translation: will i bring a shovel?

GavD
10-16-2008, 01:28 PM
I don't think your huge implement would be any use......unless someone brought a bowl of Ice Cream...:)

PAULO

What can i saw we got a savage amount of works done today. we should realy go into business as - one day pump track specialists. its 80% ridable i'll pop out again soon and get the tight left right finished by next weekend. Cheers to everyone who came out to dig: Pablo, Gav, Ronan, and callum.

those mattocks are monsterous for ripping dirt.

And cheers vic for coming out i'm sure you got a few good snaps of everyone, glad you finally got to see the place.

I'll most likely be out there next saturday to polish off what was built today and extend it, i've plans for the top section.

Cheers guys yis are troopers.

Lads, as a long time time St Annes local ( 20 yrs plus ) I'm dying to know what you're up to there, I rode past chuckies yesterday, are you building around the dirt jumps? Can't think of where you could put a pump track other than there.

I've got two in my car Al's and El Presidente's, my owns been ingraved as we speak. Al will sort anyone out with all the hardware, just PM him.

Was talkin to stevo today, himself and two other lads dug for an hour today and the tight right handers getting a better cut, its not been shaped but this weeeknd if that gets done thats a good days work.

Over the next few weeks i plan to expand and connect lines so there a flow running int the centre area which at the monent is a blank canvas.

Good guys stuff see you sat morning i'll be there early though from 10ish

My 'Alfa letterbox boot' would'nt take anything bigger than a tea cup, can someone else see if we can get one up to the trails, there's a place to keep them in Anne's if you wanna leave it there. dont buy a bling one it might be found and nicked, Stevo's already lost one but replaced it. worth gettin one for €20-30 If there's a van handy ... :c)

skippy

Thank good most of us live on the rooightside of the river...Imagine you cant even park a wheel barrow over the other side.

...sure they steal little wooden bridges in Tymon Park.....it must be nice to live in the civilised countryside....
hang on a sec - Skip - didn't you do a few years hard labour for stealing half a forest a few years back...????

Get a stainless stell wheel barrow, the plastic ones burn to easy.
In regards to mattocks, just leave it stuck into a tree which a little note on it saying ‘leave me bleendin digging hatchet alone or I’ll bleedin burst ye’ they respect that. Alternatively cover it in blood, the blood won’t turn them off but they are all cute enough not to get their finger prints on a blood soaked pick axe.

if I have the van sorted by sat I'll pick one up.......why I oughta......You can bring the snickers and lucozade this time mark :D:p
